Synesis International is exhibiting at the 2026 South Carolina Manufacturing Conference & Expo on November 4–5 at the Greenville Convention Center. We will be at Booth #900 with Synesis AI eQMS running live, and we are looking forward to two days of conversations with the quality managers, plant leaders and engineers who make the Southeast's factories run. This post covers what the conference is, what we are bringing, and how to make the most of a visit to our booth.
What the SC Manufacturing Conference & Expo Is
Hosted by SC Biz News, the South Carolina Manufacturing Conference & Expo has grown into one of the largest manufacturing gatherings in the Southeast. Organizers expect more than 1,400 attendees and over 150 exhibiting companies, drawn from automotive, aerospace, electronics, advanced materials, food and beverage, defense and the many tier suppliers that feed them. The 2026 agenda centers on the pressures every plant is feeling right now: automation, workforce development, operational efficiency, supply chain resilience and the practical use of new technology on the floor.
This year's keynote comes from Jake Hall, better known in the industry as the "Manufacturing Millennial," whose work on the next generation of manufacturing talent and technology adoption reaches a wide audience of plant leaders. The two days also include the Manufacturing Mavens awards recognizing women leading South Carolina manufacturing, and the Palmetto Proud awards celebrating products made in the state. Between sessions, the expo floor is where the real conversations happen, and that is where you will find us.
Why Synesis Is Exhibiting
Synesis is a Greenville company. We have implemented SAP Business One for manufacturers since 1994, and we built Synesis AI eQMS, the first of our connected manufacturing systems, specifically for the mid-sized plants that make up most of the Upstate's industrial base. A conference held a few miles from our office, attended by exactly the people we build software for, is the natural place to show it.
We also hear the same question from almost every quality manager we meet: how do we get off spreadsheets, shared drives and paper forms without taking on an enterprise-priced platform and a year-long rollout? Synesis AI eQMS was designed as the answer to that question, and a trade show booth is the best place to prove it, because you can bring your own process to the screen and we can walk it through live.
Come with a real problem
The most useful booth conversations start with a specific pain point: an audit finding that keeps recurring, a CAPA backlog nobody can see, document revisions that never reach the floor, or supplier scorecards built by hand every quarter. Bring one of those and we will show you how it is handled in the system, end to end.
What You Will See at Booth #900
We are not bringing slides. The booth runs a live Synesis AI eQMS environment, and visitors can pick whichever module matters most to them. The platform is engineered as one system, so a record created in one module links across the others without re-entry. Here is what we expect most people will want to see.
Document control that actually reaches the floor
Document Management handles the ISO 9001 review-and-approve cycle, revision history and a published library, but the part that gets a reaction at demos is read-and-understand tracking: every employee's acknowledgment of every controlled document, visible on one screen, ready for the auditor.
Closed-loop quality events
Quality Events covers NCRs, CAPA, RMAs, RGAs, change control and customer complaints in one workflow. We will show how a nonconformance raised on a receiving inspection becomes a CAPA, how the AI assistant drafts the root cause analysis from the record, and how effectiveness verification closes the loop. For many visitors this is the module that replaces three spreadsheets and an email chain.
Audits, inspections and calibration
Quality Operations brings internal, supplier, process and layered audits together with inspections, calibration and equipment records. Audit findings escalate directly into CAPA. If you are preparing for a certification audit, this is the module to spend time on.
SAP Business One connection
Because so many Upstate manufacturers run SAP Business One, we will have SAP Connect configured so you can see business partners, purchase orders, goods receipts and production orders flowing into the quality system. We covered how that integration works through the Service Layer in an earlier post; at the show you can see it running.
AI where it earns its place
The AI in Synesis AI eQMS is not a chatbot bolted on the side. It classifies incoming quality events, proposes root causes, drafts CAPA actions, summarizes audit evidence and surfaces trends across modules. We will be candid about what it does well and where a human still decides. If you have been skeptical of AI claims in quality software, bring that skepticism to the booth. We have written before about AI in quality control and we would rather show than tell.
Beyond Quality: MES and CMMS
Synesis AI eQMS is the first of three connected manufacturing systems. The Manufacturing Execution System handles work orders, BOMs, routings and production reporting from the floor, and the Maintenance Management System covers assets, preventive maintenance, inspections and spare parts. All three share the same data model and audit trail. Asset and calibration records in particular cross the line between quality and maintenance, which we explored in this post on SDS and maintenance inside the QMS. If your plant is looking at more than quality, we can show how the pieces fit.
Deployment Options and What It Costs
Two questions come up at every show: where does it run, and what does it cost? Synesis AI eQMS runs on-premise behind your firewall, on Microsoft Azure, on AWS or on a hosted environment of your choice. It does not require per-user Microsoft 365 licenses. We are happy to talk numbers at the booth; if you are comparing platforms, our eQMS comparison is a useful starting point before you arrive.
How to Make the Most of a Visit
- Book a time slot. The expo floor gets busy around the keynote and lunch. If you would like a focused 20-minute walkthrough, contact us ahead of time and we will hold a slot for you at Booth #900.
- Bring your process, not a wish list. A copy of your NCR form, your audit schedule or your document control procedure is the fastest way to see how your work maps to the system.
- Bring the people who will use it. Quality managers usually drive the evaluation, but the inspector who logs the NCR and the supervisor who signs the read-and-understand are the ones who decide whether a system sticks.
- Ask about SAP. If you run SAP Business One, ask to see the integration first. It changes the rest of the conversation.
- Preview the modules online. Our conference page shows every module with screenshots so you can decide what to look at before you walk over.
Frequently Asked Questions
When and where is the SC Manufacturing Conference & Expo 2026?
November 4–5, 2026 at the Greenville Convention Center, 1 Exposition Drive, Greenville, South Carolina. Synesis International is at Booth #900 on both days.
Do I need to register in advance to visit the Synesis booth?
You need conference registration to enter the expo floor, available through the event organizers. No appointment is needed to visit our booth, though we recommend reserving a demo slot if you want dedicated time.
Can I see Synesis AI eQMS before the show?
Yes. The eQMS overview and the individual module pages include screenshots and walkthroughs, and we can arrange an online demo before or after the conference.
See You in Greenville
Trade shows are at their best when a vendor shows up with a working product and real answers rather than a brochure. That is our plan for November. Stop by Booth #900, bring the problem that is costing your quality team the most time, and let us show you how Synesis AI eQMS handles it. If you cannot make the show, the same demo is a phone call away.
